Where Can I Get Starbucks at Disney World?

If you are like us, you probably like to start your day with a nice caffeinated beverage.  Since many of us are huge creatures of habit when at home, why wouldn’t we expect the same while we are on vacation?  If you are heading out to Disney World, you may be wondering if you will be able to get your Starbucks.  If you are looking for Starbucks at Disney World, you may not find what you are looking for as the locations within the four main theme parks are not called Starbucks!  To get you prepared, we have put together EVERYTHING that you need to know about how and where to get Starbucks at Disney World.

Names and Locations of each Starbucks at Disney World

Starbucks at Disney World

Starbucks at Magic Kingdom

When you head into the Magic Kingdom, you will be looking for Main Street Bakery.  As you enter the park, you will go straight down Main Street USA heading towards Cinderella Castle.  About a block and a half down Main Street USA, you will find Main Street Bakery on the right side of the road.  If you make it to the Plaza Restaurant, you have gone too far!  In the mornings, you can get to this location before the park officially opens as they do allow guests to make their way down Main Street before the park is open – which is great if you want to grab your coffee and then head out to watch the Let the Magic Begin Welcome Show!

Starbucks at Hollywood Studios

When visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you will be looking for Trolley Car Café.  Like Main Street Bakery in Magic Kingdom, you can access Trolley Car Café prior to the park’s official opening each morning.  Usually about 30 minutes before the park officially opens, Hollywood Studios will allow the gests to make their way down to the corner of Hollywood and Sunset Boulevard.  When you get to this intersection, the Trolley Car Café will be on your right-hand side.

Starbucks at Epcot

In Epcot, you will be looking for Fountain View.  As you enter the park, you will make your way through the Leave a Legacy plaques heading towards Spaceship Earth.  Go to the right of Spaceship Earth because once you pass it you will come up on the large fountain where you will notice Fountain View to the right.

Starbucks at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

As you make your way into the Animal Kingdom, you will have to walk a little further here to find a location called Creature Comforts.  As you enter the park, you will head straight towards the Tree of Life.  Once on Discovery Island, you will make your way left heading towards Africa.  Before you get to the bridge heading into Africa, you will find Creature Comforts on the left.

Starbucks at Disney Springs

At Disney Springs, you will find two separate Starbucks locations, both of which are actually called Starbucks!  The first is basically a window where you will place an order and pick it up at the window once it is ready.  This one is located near the World of Disney store.  The other location is much larger with indoor and outdoor seating.  This second location can be found on the West Side near AMC Disney Springs 24.

Things to know about Starbucks at Disney World

Paying for your Starbucks at Disney World

Colossal Cinnamon Roll - Starbucks at Disney World
Colossal Cinnamon Roll – Starbucks at Disney World
  • Just about everything on each of the location’s menus can be purchased using your Disney Dining Plan Snack Credits.  Now, if you are just ordering a coffee, you might not want to use a snack credit as they begin to lose value if you are not using them on items in the $5 to $6 range, but if you get crazy with your orders, you can make it worth the credit.  There are some food items that you can get for a snack credit.  I highly recommend the Mickey Shaped Cinnamon Roll if you find it as it is so good, and it is very filling!
  • You can use your Starbucks Gift Cards, Disney Gift Cards, and you can also use your Starbucks app to pay for your orders at any of the Starbucks locations.
  • You can get points on your Starbucks rewards, but you cannot earn bonus points.
  • In the parks, you cannot use your Starbucks Rewards Points for your purchase, however, at the two Disney Springs locations, you can use your Starbucks Rewards Points for your purchase.
  • The menu will have just about every drink that you are used to getting, but the food items will be a mix of Starbucks treats as well as a few Disney related treats.
  • As of February of 2019, the park locations do not have Trentas.  I hope this changes in the future, but I don’t have high hopes for this.

Disney Themed Starbucks Items

One thing that you will notice while waiting in line is that the Disney locations all have Disney-themed items available for purchase.  They make mugs, gifts, and they even have Disney/Starbucks Christmas tree ornaments.

Eating Keto at Epcot

If you have ever visited any of the parks at Walt Disney World, you already know that the words “Disney World” and (insert ANY diet name here) do not go well together.  While this is the case, if you are living a Keto lifestyle, you can still enjoy your trip while eating Keto at Epcot.  The longer that I have gone in my Keto journey, the easier it has become to completely overcome any cravings for carbs and sugar.  That said, Disney World is a little harder to tackle.  But, if you can stay strong and avoid temptations, it can be done!

Focus on Staying in Ketosis – Not on the Caloric Intake

When I am at home, I am very strict with my caloric intake as well as my macros.  At Disney World, I focus more on staying in keto without really focusing on the calories.  I mean, I am on vacation, and I am walking like 10 miles a day while in the parks.  One thing to remember is that if you are in a table-service restaurant, let the host know that you have certain dietary restrictions and they will send out a chef to discuss your options.  You can almost always make the changes necessary to stay in ketosis.  With the quick-service restaurants and snacks, it can be a little harder, but still very possible. In this post, I will be covering my day at Epcot.  On this visit, we were there during the International Food and Wine Festival, so the snack options were a little different that it migh be when you are there.

Nice Keto Breakfast at Pop Century’s Everything Pop Shopping and Dining

POP Century!

So, this was our last full day in the parks. We had been up early the last few days to be able to make it into the parks for breakfast, and so to be honest, we decided to sleep in a little today. Since we were taking it easy on this day, I went to Everything Pop Shopping and Dining and grabbed some breakfast for everyone to enjoy in the room while we were getting ready. I decided to go with the Cheese Omelet from Mom’s Kitchen. While it did come with breakfast potatoes, I did not eat them. I also picked up a few cheese snacks from the coolers in the cafeteria. I also picked up a diet coke as I know it would be a little while before I would get my iced coffee.

Awesome Caesar Salad at Sunshine Seasons

After making our way into the park and heading over to Starbucks (Fountain View) over in Future World to grab my iced coffee, we were off to ride a couple of rides. After having a great time on Soarin’ and Living with the Land, we decided to grab some lunch over at Sunshine Seasons. While Sunshine Seasons did have a few great options to choose from, including the Oak-Grilled Rotisserie Chicken and the Slow Roasted Pork Loin, I decided to go with the Caesar Salad with Oak-Fired Chicken. Since I knew that I would be eating a few hearty snacks while making my way through the International Food and Wine Festival, I thought that a lighter option would be the best option. Also, we had dinner reservations scheduled for the German buffet, so I knew I would be eating well for dinner!

Great Keto Dinner at Epcot’s Biergarten Restaurant

Like I mentioned, we had dinner reservations scheduled at Biergarten Restaurant. Beirgarten Restaurant is a German-style buffet, and it had some great keto-friendly options all around! I forgot how much I really enjoy German food! They had a nice selection of salads, multiple German Sausages, and a great carving station. In addition to the great keto options, they also had food that my whole family enjoyed, and an entertaining German show that the kids really loved!

Keto Snacks at the International Food and Wine Festival

So, the highlight for my eating journey at all of Walt Disney World had to be making my way around the world at Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival. So many of the items that we tried were really amazing, and I was able to find a few things that I could eat. Now, on most items, I did have to avoid a little something here and there, but the foods were still great. Here is a list of things that I was able to eat:

  • At the Australia Pavillion, I had the Grilled Lamb Chop with Mint Pesto and Potato Crunchies – I did scrape off the potato crunchies as they were basically Lay’s Potato Chips.
  • At the Canada Pavillion, I had the Le Cellier Wild Mushroom Beef Filet Mignon with Truffle-Butter Sauce – so good.
  • At Flavors from Fire, I had the Charred Chimichurri Skirt Steak on a Smoked Corn Cake with Pickled Vegetable Slaw and Cilantro Aïoli – obviously, I handed the corn cake to my wife.
  • At the Wine and Dine Studio, I had the Seared Scallops, Truffled Celery Root Purée, Brussels Sprouts, and Wild Mushrooms – This was my favorite snack! I had 2!
  • At Coastal Eats, I had the Baked Shrimp Scampi Dip with Sourdough Baguette – and I tossed the baguette and ate it with a spoon!

After all of the amazing snacks and the heavy dinner at Biergarten Restaurant, we finished up the night with an enjoyable Boys II Men Concert!

Eating Keto at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

If you have ever visited any of the parks at Walt Disney World, you already know that the words “Disney World” and (insert ANY diet name here) do not go well together.  While this is the case, if you are living a Keto lifestyle, you can still enjoy your trip while eating Keto at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.  The longer that I have gone in my Keto journey, the easier it has become to completely overcome any cravings for carbs and sugar.  That said, Disney World is a little harder to tackle.  But, if you can stay strong and avoid temptations, it can be done!

While at Hollywood Studios, there are many things that you can do to stay in ketosis.  If you are in a table-service restaurant, let the host know that you have certain dietary restrictions and they will send out a chef to discuss your options.  You can almost always make the changes necessary to stay in ketosis.  With the quick-service restaurants and snacks, it can be a little harder, but still very possible.  Over the next few days/posts, I will go over what I ate to remain in ketosis.  This post will be covering my day at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, so be sure to subscribe to our page so that you can get updated with my posts that cover the other parks as well.  On this day, we had reservations at three table-service restaurants, so let’s dive in to what I had!

Eating a Keto Breakfast at Hollywood & Vine

Eating Keto at Hollywood and Vine with Jake!

Like at home, breakfast is always the easiest meal to eat while in ketosis.  Since we were eating at Hollywood & Vine, besides the fact that we got to hang out with many of the lead characters from Disney Junior, I also took part in the extensive breakfast buffet.  I loaded up on scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage.  I also had a huge omelet filled with bacon, mushrooms, spinach, and cheese topped with sour cream.  After breakfast, we headed over to Starbucks (Trolley Car Café) to grab a Venti Iced Coffee with heavy cream and a couple of sweet-n-lows (a common theme in all the parks, and a great way to start the day)!

Eating a Keto Lunch at the Sci-Fi Dine-In

For lunch, I had made reservations for one of my favorite Disney World restaurants!  At the Sci-Fi Dine-In, I started my lunch out with a nice wedge salad since I knew that I would not be eating one of my sides nor would I be indulging in dessert.  While it isn’t too bad the way it is, I opted to go for no tomatoes, radish, or balsamic glaze.  Even without these things, the salad was still pretty dang good.  For my entrée, I went with the Flame-broiled New York Strip Steak cooked perfectly medium-rare.  I ordered it without the potatoes or vinaigrette, and they were nice enough to double up on the seasonal veggies with was very nice of them.  Overall, a great meal in an awesomely themed restaurant.

An Awesome Keto Dinner at the 50’s Prime Time Cafe

Keto at 50's Prime Time Cafe
50’s Prime Time Cafe

We love the 50’s Prime Time Café, so I was so happy to be eating here for dinner.  I was a little worried as I usually go with the pot-roast with mashed potatoes or the meatloaf, but since I am doing keto, I had to play by the rules.  While the 50’s Prime Time does offer a great wedge salad as an appetizer, I had planned on having a salad for my entrée, so I decided to skip on an appetizer.  For my entrée, I went with the Caesar Salad with Grilled Chicken minus the croutons.  Not the most exciting meal this week, but after a hearty breakfast, an awesome and somewhat heavy lunch, and a couple of snacks, the salad did sit well, and it was enjoyable.

Keto Snacks at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

When it comes to snacks at Hollywood Studios, there are not very many great Keto options.  But, when Toy Story Land opened, Disney struck a deal with Babybel, so you can now find mini Babybel snack cheeses at many of the snack carts and stores.  While playing around over in Andy’s Backyard, we went over to Woody’s Luchbox and picked up a couple of three-packs of Babybel cheese snacks for $3.49.  Outside of this, we had a hard time finding any other viable snack options, but like I mentioned, we had three table-service meals this day, so snacking wasn’t completely necessary.

Other Keto Options at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

As you can see, I had a great day, ate well, and managed to remain in Ketosis all day while visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios.  Like I mentioned, there are so many other options if you are willing to put in a little time before your trip.  One place that we did not visit on this trip was The Hollywood Brown Derby.  I was a little upset that we didn’t go here as they have some great Keto options, but we were not able to make reservations, so we missed out.  Outside of this, there are plenty of burgers and hot dogs that you can get if you are okay with tossing out the buns and skipping on the sides.  I know that once Galasy’s Edge opens up, there will be a couple of additional dining options, so we are looking forward to see what the future holds at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

Eating Keto at The Magic Kingdom

If you have ever visited Walt Disney World, you know that the words Disney World vacation and (insert ANY diet name here) diet definitely do not go hand in hand.  While this is the case, if you are living a Keto lifestyle, you can still enjoy your trip while eating Keto at the Magic Kingdom.  The longer that I have gone in my Keto journey, the easier it has become to completely overcome any cravings for carbs and sugar.  That said, Disney World is a little harder to tackle.  But, if you can stay strong and avoid temptations, it can be done!

Keto breakfast is so easy to do!

Eating Keto at the Magic Kingdom at Crystal Palace

Like at home, breakfast is always the easiest meal to eat while in ketosis.  We were staying at Pop Century during our last stay, so I just grabbed breakfast at one of the resort’s quick-service stations in the cafeteria.  That said, you can go to any table-service or quick-service restaurant on property and get bacon, eggs, sausage, cheese, sour cream, etc.  Once in the park, I head over to the Starbucks (Main Street Bakery) to grab a Venti Iced Coffee with heavy cream and a couple of sweet-n-lows.  If you like to load up at breakfast, I would definitely suggest checking into the Crystal Palace for a great Keto breakfast in the Magic Kingdom.  In addition to the plethora keto breakfast options, you will also have an omelet station where you can get a good mix of veggies and cheese mixed into your omelet.

Eating Keto for Lunch at Be Our Guest

Eating Keto at the Magic Kingdom at Be Our Guest

While I could have easily opted for a Jumbo Turkey Leg while making my way around the Magic Kingdom, I knew that I would be eating a half-chicken for dinner – also we had managed to book a lunch at Be Our Guest.  My last visit to Be Our Guest led me to the amazing Braised Pork (Coq Au Vin Style).  While this meal was amazing and could have easily been made keto by removing the mashed potatoes and carrots, I went a different direction.  Being that I loaded up at breakfast, I wasn’t starving, so I actually ordered the Grilled Shrimp off of the kid’s menu.  It come with like 5 grilled shrimp, broccoli, and peach applesauce that I gave to one of my daughters.

Eating Keto for Dinner at Starlight Ray’s Cosmic Cafe

Like I mentioned earlier, I was looking forward to the ½ Rotisserie Chicken from Starlight Ray’s Cosmic Café.  Now, I will admit that it is very rare that I will actually go to or even look forward to eating at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café, but after doing some research before our trip, I was actually excited about dinner here!  This meal did not disappoint!  The ½ chicken is served with mashed potatoes and green beans.  Once again, my daughters were in luck as they scored an additional serving of mashed potatoes, but the chicken and green beans were very good, and definitely did the trick!  Another great thing about Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café is the fact that they do have mobile-ordering, so we were able to place our order ahead of time as opposed to waiting in line.

Keto Snacks at the Magic Kingdom

When it comes to snacks at the Magic Kingdom, there are not very many great options.  But, when Toy Story Land opened up, Disney struck a deal with Babybel, so you can now find mini Babybel snack cheeses at many of the snack carts and stores.  While I would never waste a snack credit on a Babybel cheese, they do have them all over the parks for $3.49.  In the Magic Kingdom, I found them at the Liberty Square Market and bought a few and threw them in our little cooler.  They also had whole pickles for $1.99 each, so I picked up a couple of them as well.  I think my daughters actually ate one of them as I was never hungry enough to get to both of them!

Babybel Cheese as a Keto Snack option

Other Keto Options at the Magic Kingdom

As you can see, I had a great day, ate well, and managed to remain in Ketosis all day while visiting the Magic Kingdom.  Like I mentioned, there are so many other options if you are willing to put in a little time before your trip.  One thing that I did not try was Casey’s Corner, but I know that they do have some great options there if you don’t mind tossing the bun!  Right not, they are offering the Buffalo Chicken All-Beef Foot Long Hot Diggity Dog.  I have not tried this, but all of the pictures that I am seeing looks like they use a grilled chicken tossed in buffalo sauce on top of a foot-long hot dog that is topped with chopped celery and a garlic ranch drizzle.  I would definitely eat this if I saw it.

Things You Must Have Before Your Next Trip to Disney World

If you are planning for your next Disney World vacation, you may get overwhelmed with all of the tips and tricks that friends, family, and the internet may be throwing at you. From planning dining 180-days out, to booking Fast Passes 60-days out, by the time you get to Disney World, you may need a vacation from all of your vacation planning! Well, here is a little more for you to consider before your trip. We have put together a list of items that we highly recommend that you must have BEFORE your next trip to Disney World!

Gotta have a Backpack!

You Gotta Have a Backpack!

When going to Disney World, there are quite a few things that you will be carrying with you throughout your trip. The best way to do this (with or without a stroller) will be in a backpack. Now, you can use any old backpack like we did on our first trip, but as you venture out into the parks, you will see so many different backpacks that seem like they were made specifically for people vacationing at Disney World. In all honesty, any backpack will work, but if you fear that you may suffer from backpack envy, here are a few that we recommend!

External USB Charger

External USB Chargers, fuel rods, power banks, or portable chargers.  Whatever you call them, you will definitely need one!  If you are taking pictures, using the My Disney Experience App on your phone to book and manage your fast passes and dining reservations, or letting your kids use the Play Disney Parks app while waiting in lines, your battery will not make it!  While the parks do have Fuel Rod exchange kiosks throughout the parks and at the hotels, some of them are not the best quality, and you can find yourself looking for the kiosks instead of enjoying your vacation.  I would recommend the larger power banks that can charge over-night and then be used the next day to charge multiple electronics at one time.  Definitely one of the best investments made before our last trip!

Disney Character Autograph Books

As you are planning for your upcoming vacation, you will notice that there are many options for Disney character meet and greet options throughout the parks as well as in many of the restaurants in the form of character dining. Once you start interacting with the characters, you will see that many of them will do autographs for you or your children.  It is so nice to be able to hand them your autograph book for them to sign, plus this will give you a souvenir that you can cherish for years to come!  You will find them in every park, at Disney Springs, and online, but we recommend buying one ahead of time to save money in the parks.

Lanyard and Pins for Trading

One of the things that my family loves doing is pin trading.  Now, you can buy lanyards and pins throughout the parks, resorts, and at Disney Springs, but many of the ones that you will find and buy will have special meaning to you or your child.  We recommend buying a few before you go that do not have any special meaning so that you will feel better about trading them for better pins during your vacation.  Carry your pins on your lanyards which you can buy before you go so that you are not searching around the parks trying to find what you want.  This will give you more time for the rides, attractions, and character meet and greets once in the parks!

Personal Fans

There is a good chance that when you are heading out to Disney World it is going to be hot.  Orlando does not have much of a winter, and as we have learned, you can still get some pretty hot days during the “winter” months, so because of this, we recommend having a couple of things to help you beat the heat!  There are so many different options when it comes to personal fans.  You’ll find some that sprays water with the fan, some that are battery operated, and some that work when connected to a USB port (or even your phone for that matter).  No matter what you choose, buying before your trip is always a good idea.  We traveled to Disney World in November and didn’t think we would need our fans.  It was HOT!  We ended up dropping $25 on a Disney spray bottle fan.  Kids loved it, but I was so bummed as we had great options at home.

Frogg Toggs Chilly Pad Cooling Towel

We have tried many different types of cooling towels, and we keep coming back to Frogg Toggs as our family favorite.  Frogg Toggs cooling towels are made from a hyper-evaporative material that retains water while remaining dry to the touch.  These things make for an awesome way to cool down when the temps go up at Disney World.  The best thing about them is that when they stop cooling, you can re-wet them and wring them out and then within minutes, it begins cooling you off.

Family Packs of Rain Ponchos

Like the last recommendation regarding the heat, depending on the time of the year that you visit Disney World, there is a great chance for rain.  Now, there might be a 15-minute downpour each day, there may be hours of rain, or it may be dry, but we always recommend taking ponchos as you do not want to get caught in a park without one when the rain starts falling.  While there are many places to go to in each park to avoid the rain, if you try and buy one in the park, you are looking at a $10 purchase.  Unlike many other purchases that you make in the parks, you most likely won’t get any future uses out of the ponchos.  Once they get wet, they are almost impossible to get dry, so with the high humidity in Florida, there will probably be mold growing within a day or two, and these bad boys will start to stink!

Glow Sticks, Glow Necklaces, Glow Bracelets

Once the sun goes down, you will see carts lining the streets in every park selling light up toys and glow items.  Believe me, if your kids don’t have something that lights up or glows, you will be shelling out big bucks to keep them happy!  If you have a pack of glow sticks, necklaces, or bracelets in your backpack, you can get them out and have them ready as the sun is going down.  Thank us later!

Collapsible Water Bottle with Water Filter

When you are in the Orlando area, you will want to be drinking water all day! The last thing you want is to be dehydrated or wore down because you are not drinking enough water. Unfortunately, unless you want to pay for bottled water in the park you will need to have a water bottle. Most food service locations will provide you with a free cup of water, but it can be small and can take up a lot of time getting in lines for water. If you have a collapsible water bottle, you can go anywhere and fill it up, and since it has a built-in water filter, you wont have to worry about the water quality as this will help with the flavor!

Durable Moleskin

On your park days, you will be on your feet all day long!  Not only will you be on your feet, but you will most likely be trekking quite a few miles per day.  Add in the fact that your feet will get hot and the chance that they will get wet, you are going to need some protection for your feet!  Moleskin comes in different varieties including rolls, strips, and pre-cut pieces.  I would recommend that you throw some in your backpack as you never know when a blister might try and pop up.  If you are prone to getting blisters on your feet, it might not be a bad idea to put this on any places that are prone to blister before you even get started each day!

Body Glide

This is something that I had not heard of until our most recent trip, and I am so glad that I found it!  If you ever have problems with chaffing or you think that you might once you get into the heat and humidity of central Florida, this is the best thing you will learn about today!  Simply apply before you get dressed, on your thighs, neck, arms, or literally anywhere skin gets rubbed.  Body Glide will help stop any chaffing trouble before it starts!

Couple of Additional Potential Items for Your Next Disney World Trip

I think that most of these items above can be useful for anyone heading out to Disney World. But, here are a couple of items that I would recommend looking into if your vacation needs it. If you are looking into different stroller options at Disney World, we highly recommend reading more about your options here – Do You Need a Stroller for Your Next Disney World Vacation? If you will be booking a session at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, I would highly recommend buying a dress for your little one before you go. When you book, they will let you know that there are dresses available for purchase, but they do not guarantee any certain princesses or sizes. Plus, you can find one at JCP or on Amazon for MUCH less. Learn everything you need to know about Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in this article – Is the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Really Worth It?

In Conclusion

I know that there seems to be so many things that you need to plan for, but I can assure you that the better you plan ahead, the more you will be able to enjoy the magic of Disney World once you arrive! Is there anything that we missed? Do you have any secret items that everyone need to know about? Please feel free to share your thoughts it the comments below! Also, if you have any Disney Fanatic friends, please be sure and share our list with them as well!
